About your Chef
Franco Tassone was born in Italy and comes from a family of six Chefs and Restauranteurs. Growing up, he could always be found in the kitchen, helping his mother. His curiosity and passion for cooking led him to work and study abroad, from Italy to Australia, from Canada to America.
Moving to San Diego in 1989, he became a pioneer in the Gaslamp District and helped open La Strada. From 1992-2004, La Terrazza, which was nestled in the beautiful La Jolla Cove, became a huge hit with locals and world travelers. From 1998-2003, Zao Sushi, showcased four of San Diego's top sushi chefs turning food into an art form. From 2003-2007, Isola Lounge was the first to feature tapas from around the world, Italian food and the best Sangria on the beach!
Franco and his team welcome you to Enoteca Adriano, Pacific Beach's first Wine Bar. Highlighting Italian food and wine from 13 wine regions, we offer daily specials, wine flights, and wine pairings.
